It’s festival season in Las Vegas! There’s an endless amount of music, food fairs and family friendly events headed our way in the next few months. Since the arrival of 2011’s, Electric Daisy Festival at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, our city had put its focus on tapping more into the mega music festival market. The success of EDC in 2013 and it’s 400,000 attendees had pumped $278 million dollars into the Las Vegas economy. The benefits of a major concert scene not only makes our city money, but it strengthens our role as entertainment capital of the world and puts us on the map. We’ve listed the top 3 not to miss Las Vegas music festivals to check out this year!
Electric Daisy Festival
EDC Las Vegas is one of the biggest electronic dance festivals in the United States. The Las Vegas Motor Speedway has been home to this Insomniac produced event since 2011 and our party scene hasn’t been the same since. The line up consists of a collection of newcomer and legend dance artists exploring sub genres like house, techno, mainroom and everything in between. The 3 day event goes from dusk till dawn and draws in 4 times the amount of Coachella concert goers. This one’s for the nightowls, non stop DJ sets and fireworks included.
Life Is Beautiful
Life Is Beautiful celebrates the revitalization of vintage Vegas on Fremont Street in the downtown area. Music, art and culinary collide with this showcase of the most popular and mainstream music artists and celebrity chefs. This September, mix, mingle and soak in the culture of Life Is Beautiful with 100,000 new friends.
The iHeartRadio Festival
The iHeartRadio Festival is returning to the MGM Grand Arena for it’s 6th year this fall.
The lineup is yet to be announced but always guarantees Billboard chart topping pop acts. Last years acts included Kanye West, Fall Out Boy and Jennifer Lopez. The concert series also includes a separate ticket outdoor stage and pool party. and Fun Fact: Late music legend, Prince had made a guest appearance duet with Mary J Blige in 2012.
