It’s almost summer, which means that festival season has offically kicked off! With that said, it’s time to get out that floral crown and those flash tattoos because you’ve got some serious festival partying to do. From Junefest to Electric Daisy Carnival, Vegas is going to be a playground of fun festivals this summer (move over Coachella) and you aren’t going to want to miss a single one.
1. Hydro-FestĀ
Hydro-Fest is a brand new Vegas festival that is perfect for all the extreme athletes out there! This adrenaline fueled festival will be held on June 10th-12th above Lake Spring Mountain and will include an array of extreme sport competitions (including jet-boarding, jet-packing & slacklining) and live music. The best part of Hydro-Fest? All admission is free!
2. JunefestĀ
Junefest has long been a Henderson staple and this day long festival kicks off on Saturday, June 11th! Held at the Sunset Station Outdoor Amphitheater, tickets are only $31 and this year’s lineup includes Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, Lou Gramm, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and The English Beat.
3. Reggae in The Desert
Following in Junefest’s footsteps, Reggae in The Desert takes place on Saturday, June 11th so it might be a challenge to decided, which festival to attend! Reggae in The Desert is a fun loving reggae festival that has been going strong for 15 years now and takes place at The Clark County Amphitheater. Tickets are only $40 and this festival even includes a beer garden, an island food court and a Caribbean-themed bazaar.
4. Electric Daisy CarnivalĀ
This year marks EDC’s 20th anniversary and if we had to put money on it, we be this year’s festival will be something like never before. This three day fantasy festival takes place on June 17th-19th and is currently the biggest electronic dance music festival in the US attracting more than 140,000 fans every night! Tickets start at $355 and are on sale now at the Electric Daisy Carnival website.
